If you don't understand the horrors our nation is militarily, politically, and militarily backing in Gaza you are now willfully ignoring it! Just as the Germans who lived near the death camps ignored the stench. Our nation is culpable. What are we to do about it?!

The elected within the red & blue political parties have made it clear they will do nothing to help but will only continue to fund the munitions that are intentionally destroy the lives of children.
The Universities will beat and expelled those who protest.

Tell me, what are we to do about it? The people of nation favor a cease fire but we seem powerless to have our voice heard. This post will surely be shadow banned as best, which is why I barely bother with Meta anymore.

I ask again, what are we to do about it?! Silence and inaction is violence!

Take the Mercury's "The Police Union HATES Portland" Poll! 12/15/2023

"On Tuesday December 12, the Portland Police Association (PPA)—the union for the city's rank-and-file cops—published the results of a poll that they claim represents the opinions of a majority of Portlanders... even though they only polled 500 people. The Oregonian was quick to parrot the results of this slanted poll, gleefully reporting that "a majority of Portland voters" would move out of the city if they could, due to fears of homelessness and crime.

For anyone reading the results, it's obvious that the PPA poll was actually a cynical, fear-based ploy to cast doubt on the forthcoming police oversight board (that was overwhelmingly approved by 82 percent of voters in 2020), in order to convince city leaders to put a new measure (written by the police union) on a future ballot, effectively making Portlanders vote on it AGAIN.

Now that's some bu****it, isn't it? Since there's a very good chance YOU weren't asked to take the police union's poll, the Mercury is proud to present our own admittedly biased poll—because if they can do it, so can we, right? So fill out the quick poll below, and we'll publish the results for all the world to see next week. (And who knows? Maybe if we get more than 500 respondents, the Oregonian will write an article about us too! 🤞)"

(Clothing optional) Naked Ride Protest announcement. ……………….We’re going to protest, but still have fun doing so. Body paints, costumes, lit bikes, all encouraged. There will be dance and chant stops. March 7th, Halloday park, meet 7pm and ride 7:30.…………………..
Why?…………………
There’s trains laden with toxic chemicals heading through our city with poor safety regulations that are putting us all at direct risk. Our rivers, land and neighbors are all in danger. ………………………..
So we’re going to go full moon on the full moon and protest………………….
For the rest of this year all of our nakedrides (30+) will protest this travesty of government prioritizing profit over the safety of our peoples and land………………….
Will this change this paradigm that endemically oppresses us all?…………………
Let’s be real. Probably not………………………
But, it will bring attention to this issue…………it will give us a vehicle to show our protest and it’s far more effective than voting in a political system that by its nature allows and encourages the harm to the people and land it’s supposed to protect because….money/power/money………..
Meet for 7:00pm and ride for 7:30pm. Holladay Park. (Not the plaza around the corner) NE 11th Ave & Holladay St
