Earthquake Tech has developed into a full service basement and foundation specialty contractor. Professional seismic retrofitting company specializing in bolting down / connecting Portland's homes to their foundations for earthquake preparedness. Brick, non re-enforced, and failing foundations are our specialty.

We had the opportunity to stop by the set of Around the House today with Eric Goranson to install one of our emergency gas shut off valves. These valves are earthquake actuated - when the house moves, the gas valve is triggered to shut off the gas flow ! Good times ! Can’t wait to see the clip run on the program this weekend. Thanks Eric !!!

Today’s basement project ! Insulating and framing in a new wall at the old egress window job we discovered black mold at a month ago. No more mold and a nice coat of Dry Lock on the foundation wall makes it a pleasure to be back.
