The final day of this year’s Good in the Hood was June 28th, and what an amazing way to wrap up the weekend! For over 30 years, this cornerstone community event has brought generations together to celebrate diversity, support local businesses, and create lasting memories. This year’s festival was no exception in that tradition with a full lineup of entertainment, food, and family-friendly activities.

Festivalgoers enjoyed a wide variety of food vendors offering everything from barbecue and soul food to sweet treats, while local businesses and artisans showcased handmade goods, clothing, jewelry, artwork, and other unique products. There was something for everyone around every corner.

Community organizations were also well represented throughout the event, providing valuable resources, connecting with residents and showing just how strong our community is. Live music, interactive family activities, and the addition of the new Teen Zone added to the festive atmosphere, creating something for visitors of every age to enjoy.

The event’s success was made possible by the dedication of countless volunteers, vendors, performers, and organizers whose efforts helped create a welcoming and vibrant experience throughout the weekend.
More than just a festival, Good in the Hood continues to celebrate culture, strengthen community ties, support local entrepreneurs, and bring neighbors together, making memories that last.

As another successful year comes to a close, the community is already looking forward to next year’s celebration
