What are these things?!
Follow along for part two & to hear more about the 30-second creativity ritual that changed how we start our day āØ
We're so excited for the NW Marine Art Works Open Studios this weekend!
We're an invited artist for this event, and are honored to show in this space. Walking in for the first time made us think about art school, and that lovely smell of art supplies and creation. Many of the artists will be doing some pretty cool live demonstrations.
Andy was invited on KGW News Hello Rose City this morning, where you can hear more from him and other artists about the event.
PS: Saturday & Sunday are free, but there's a ticketed Friday Night Event (tickets only $8) that will give you a more relaxed space to look around and shop. There will be food carts, music and over 75 artists! RSVP link to the event in comments!
There's a particular kind of person who never seems to sit down.
The mother who knows where everyone's shoes are. The friend who shows up with the casserole before you've even told her what's wrong. The therapist who holds space for everyone else's grief. The aunt. The teacher. The neighbor.
They hold so much, and they rarely set any of it down.
This is for them.
Thirty seconds. A handmade sphere creating beautiful patterns that don't need anything from you except to be moved across the tray. A pause that doesn't have to be earned.
If someone in your life is always the one holding things together, send this their way. Tell them the only thing she has to do today is play in the sand for a moment. That's the whole assignment.
In the video, Sarah is playing in our Baubles & Lace 11" Wonderscape. Handmade in our Portland studio and ready to ship within 24 hours.
Share this with the nurturer in your life, and follow for more relaxing content!š¤
She holds so much. Today sheās allowed to put it down š©¶
The mothers. The grandmothers. The teachers. The therapists. The aunts. The friend who always remembers the birthday.

Tag the nurturer in your life below.
You didnāt lose your creativity.
You just stopped playing.
Somewhere along the way, everything became about productivity, outcomes & doing things ārightā. But creativity doesnāt come from pressure, it comes from moments like thisā¦
A few seconds of movement. Small pauses. A chance to create without expectation.
Thatās when it all comes rushing back.
Send this to someone who needs a quick little reset and reminder today š.
You donāt need to āfindā your creativity again.
Itās still there.
Buried under all the deadlines, the pressures and the idea that everything you do has to be productive.
But it only takes a few moments of play to feel it come back. This is your reminder to slow down. Create without a goal. Youāre allowed to play āØ
Some of us have this all figured out and if thatās you, keep scrolling! But, I find that even if I know this to be true, the stress and pressure keep flowing back in and I need to remind myself daily to slow down and open up my mind to play.
If thatās you too, hereās a quick 30 second reminder āŗļø. And send this to someone else who needs a moment like this!
Sarah is playing with a Curls sand sphere in a deep dish natural 11ā Wonderscape tray. Whatās a Wonderscape? Itās a simple, tactile way to reconnect with your creativity and calm your nervous system through sensory play. Wonderscapes are hand-crafted tools designed to help you slow down, reset, and return to yourself in just a few moments.
In a world that moves quickly, itās easy for the mind to stay in motion long after it needs to.
A simple, daily rhythm can help bring things back into balance.
Something tactile, something steady, something real.
Not everything needs to be optimized or accelerated.
Sometimes what helps most is creating with your hands.
Something sensory you can touch, shape, and return to.
Wonderscapes offer a quiet way to ground and recenter at your desk:
šļø A small, sensory pause in the middle of a full day.
š±Just a moment between meetings or calls to let your hands move and your mind follow.
No pressure. No outcome.
Just a simple reset and then you begin fresh.
Even 30 seconds can shift the way the rest of the day unfolds.
If this resonates, feel free to share it with someone who could use a moment of calm š§”.
Sarah is playing with an XL sand sphere (Brain Coral) in an 11ā deep dish tray in natural with 12oz of sand.
Your daily dose of calm. Get into the flow state āØ
Flow doesnāt always come from doing more. Sometimes it starts with doing something simple⦠slowly.
Let your hands move.
Follow the texture.
Get curious for no reason at all.
Itās the same kind of presence that showed up so naturally in childhood, when play didnāt need a purpose.
Wonderscapes offer a small way back into that space:
A moment to create, to feel, to reset.
Even 30 seconds can shift you into a different rhythm.
Save this for when you need to come back to yourself šæ
Today, Sarah is playing in an 11ā Deep Dish Wonderscape with a 12oz bag of sand and a blue/ink Brain Coral sand sphere.
Dear 10-year-old me. Letās play š
Thereās something about childhood that many of us recognize ā
a kind of curiosity that didnāt need a reason.
Creating just to explore.
Playing just because it felt good.
Following whatever caught your attention for a moment longer.
In a fast-moving world, Wonderscapes offer something simple:
A moment to slow down, create, and return to yourself.
No pressure. No outcome.
Just a small pocket of time to reconnect with your senses.
Even 30 seconds can feel like a reset.
If this resonates, feel free to share it with someone who might need a gentle pause š
Dear 10-year-old me. Letās play š
In a fast-moving world, Wonderscapes offer something simple:
A moment to slow down, create, and return to yourself.
To remember what it felt like
to explore without a goal,
to make something just because,
to get lost in your senses.
That version of you is still here.
Still curious. Still playful. Still enough.
All it takes is a moment to meet them again. āØ
