When showing at the artspace all artists are givin an opening reception that happens on the first friday of every month.
Art stays up for 3 weeks and gallery hours within the work week can be scheduled. Here at FAB PDX Artspace we are giving artists a chance to show their work and network within the art community here in Portland. We have shown well known artists and have also welcomed artists that are just getting started. ART FOR LIFE!
I have some bad news: Last month's art show at FAB PDX Artspace will be the last show I curate at the space. I want to thank everyone who helped with the 12 shows, artists that showed their work, and all the friends that attended the events. Fab Pdx has decided to go in a new direction with the space but don't worry I loved being an art curator and loved helping artists. I am hoping in the near future I can curate again and continue to support artists in Portland.
FAB PDX Artspace will be hosting Art Spark tomorrow from 5-7pm. If you missed the opening reception of Mercy Mcnab's " People of Portland" photography exhibit this is your second chance. Art Spark is celebrating their 5 year anniversary! Taco Pedaler food cart will be on location selling 2 tacos for $5. The Candy Bus will be on location as well!
