SHOP CLOSED FOR THE WEEKEND. Okay so they have someone coming out to swap out our electrical box on Tuesday. Hopefully that will fix it and we will be open on Wednesday. Until then I’m doing what little work I can by battery until it runs out of juice. I’ve been swapping and charging batteries to keep the WiFi and alarm running while the my computer, light, monitor, and printer in my office drain it pretty quick. My chainstitch machine and light don’t help much either. I should be able to ship waiting custom orders on Monday and catch up with wholesale after that. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER.

20 years ago?! One of my favorite projects in my time at Vagrant records was working on The Hold Steady’s third album - Boys and Girls in America. (I also did the art for this Chips Ahoy 7” as well as some other singles and merch) Around that time - I got to see them play in Costa Mesa, Boston (where they almost killed me), London, Los Angeles and a few other places I have foggy memories of. Massive Nights. Just got my ticket to see them celebrate this amazing record this summer in Portland with the Mountain Goats.

Rest in Peace - Scully. 2011-2026. Ugh this is so hard to tell you guys this because I know how many of you love as much as I do. Yesterday Scully had another medical emergency and I had to make the hardest decision of my life to not put her through any more trauma. She got to have a plate of her favorite things - whipped cream and chicken. And her best friend Courtney and I comforted her as we said goodbye. Scully has been with me for almost a third of my life. I feel like I’ve lost a limb. She went with me through 4 cities, 9 houses and apartments, 3 long term relationships, 2 offices, and 2 storefronts. She had a connection to everyone I’ve loved who has passed away - if there is a place beyond over the rainbow bridge I know my mom, grandparents, Trevor and Neil will be so happy to see her. When I have the time and mental strength I’ll add more of my favorite moments with her .

It’s been a whirlwind of a week nationally. Thinking of my friends in MPLS. Anyway - I made a weekly post!

We did it guys. Another weekly post. This is all the graphics I collected the last few weeks from matchbooks, advertising, spot illustrations in old magazines etc. I’ve always done this and I don’t always share them because I’ll use them for things. You’ll probably see one of these being used in something at some point. Also, thoughts about the future. Well, my future. Oh and funny screenshots. 🫡

I can’t believe I got a weekly post done this week. I’ll be coming out of colonoscopy this time next week so we will see if I can make 4 weeks in a row.
