Every now and again I made a cake for a friend's party. The cupcakes looked prettier on the stand.

Time to come home after 3 amazing weeks all over Sweden in 7 cities. My final purchases were 4 pounds of Swedish Pearl sugar and premade Princess cake marzipan. I have priorities 🍰🥮 At home pearl sugar is $12 a pound. In Sweden it's $1.80. I'm already planning next year!

Before I leave again for Sweden, I’m selling pies. They are all delicious. I seriously have to stop eating everything I make 😂.

I will be in Salem Tuesday, November 26 and I can bring orders with me. In the Portland area, I can meet in various locations.

Tonight I see Wicked again. I’m a serious fan when it comes to this musical. In 2015 I was asked to create a Wicked cake and it was a dream. My only stipulation to my grooms was I had full freedom to go nuts with a design. YES there was a bubble machine in the middle. Glinda travels by bubble’ Here are some great pics.

St Lucia is an old Swedish tradition. December 13th is the Swedish winter solstice and Lucia lights the darkness with a crown of candles and the eldest daughter brings sweet saffron buns for breakfast. I’m fortunate I’ll be in the Stockholm Cathedral for this year’s concert. Last year I was in Malmö,Sweden at a small performance. Simple and elegant.
