Have you ever been in a wheelbarrow and heard your instructor reference the “blue line”? This is said blue line. One diagonal line from the crown of your head, to your shoulders, hips and knees.

Alignment, form and slow tempo are all apart of your foundations to getting the most out of an exercise. Before you increase your resistance or go deeper in your range of motion, it’s always form first, and great form starts with good alignment.

You may have heard some of this terminology in class. The more you take class, the more you get familiar with your angles and lines. When you hear these terms, you know how to quickly get there creating faster transitions and more time under tension for you!
