Life moves fast.
It’s hard to believe Una Pluma is 18 years old and my son is heading to high school this fall. Such a grown up kid and a grown up business 🤯🥰
Honestly 2026 had been tough so far—but
Una Pluma and this boy have been truly bright lights. Thank you to each and every one of you who support this vision- this dream — and help make it a reality.
These pics, from our recent Photoshoot, highlight both the growth of the brand and our family. My son is as tall as me! And we are both decked out in head to Una Pluma!
Melt my heart. ♥️

Which fit is your fave?!?
It was so fun pairing our Kattam Totes with our new summer styles. These bags are truly the best AND they are reversible… oh the possibilities ✨

This whole outfit is online and even the beaded bracelets are available in our Division Street store in Portland ✨
Our Kattam Totes are a super limited edition collection of cotton tote bags made from saris. These colorful checks patterns are very popular in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
We picked up a collection of seven saris from Chinalapatti and Coimbatore this winter and turned them into this collection of reversible totes bags with our team in Kathmandu.
Each bag has two designs and can be fully reversed to show off a whole new Kattam sari. The handles are made from the sari borders. Available in 4 color combos.
I kinda want one of each… hbu?
Meet the greens 🥬
Forest Green: hints of evergreen pine needles and moss.
Highland Green: lush meadows meet jungle leaves.
Desert Sage: the dusty color of sun-loving desert flora.
Sea Green: sparkling Caribbean waters on a sunny day.
Emerald Green: the rich hue of raw gemstones.
Burnt Olive: earthy, rich and flavorful.
Do you know which is which?!?!

Here is a little story from my travels…
It’s about why I do what I do. Why I’m committed to making natural fiber clothing that not only looks good but feels good against your skin.
The truth is, it’s a chemically world out there. This little dress experience early in my travels has only motivated me more to continue sourcing and creating organic clothing.

Elana here with a little update:
For those of you new here, Una Pluma began 18 years ago as a passion project with a small store in Kathmandu. Our clothing is still produced in Nepal and our fabrics and sweaters come from India. Each year I take the journey East to visit our production team and starting 2/22 I will be spending 6 weeks traveling and dreaming and scheming!
First stop, South India (I haven’t been there since 2007) and am very excited to travel through Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka in search of some new woven fabrics. Specifically looking for natural dyed, hand loomed fabrics to create a new special collection.
Then I will be in Kathmandu (my favorite city in the world) working alongside our team on everything from new designs to full fabric prints and much more.
These trips honestly are my favorite part of the job.
Please follow along these next six weeks for sneak peeks into our latest innovations and behind the brand insights. Oh and feel free to DM any questions about the brand.
Thanks for being here 🙏

A dash of lime 🍋🟩✨
It may be February, but we’re starting to see hints of
spring. Keep your head up in organic pops of bright color.
We call this color Bright Lime.
