So I basically just brewed a milk/oatmeal stout with a pound of kiln coffee malt in it. Thinking of adding some coffee to it after a couple weeks just to round it off as an official breakfast stout.

Just picked up supplies for a milk stout! Just for future reference, when weighing out pellet hops, 1oz will be very demeaning to your brewing prowess. When you have used only whole hops before, it makes them look so minuscule!

Just bottled up my brew! I have 23-22oz bottles and 4 grolsch style bottles. Should have drinkable beer in about 2 weeks. Woot! I will adjust the boil volume in the future to offset the volume lost to the whole hops I used.

Fermenter is chugging away! Woot!

I now have 5 gallons of Specials Bitters in my primary fermenter. Hopefully it starts bubbling away soon without any infections.
