Went to a Socratic Design workshop at last week hosted by
It was one of those sessions where you’re just… in conversation. Asking questions, listening, building on each other’s thoughts. No slides, no performance, just thinking together.
I ended up turning my notes into a graphic recording afterward, just to hold onto something from it.
While we are in the middle of all the AI and tech innovation conversations (that mix of nervous excitement) it felt especially grounding to remember that ideas still come from people- from being in a room, paying attention, and letting thoughts evolve.
Really appreciated this one ✌️

Design, but make it kind.
This was such a fun project to be part of, and I’m really grateful to for sharing these exhibit photos with the artists.
Loved seeing my kindness pieces travel far and wide—shown at type and design festivals in Berlin, Vienna, Putrajaya, and Multaqa Alkhatt, and finishing with several weeks on display at in Pasadena—as part of a truly global celebration of kindness through type and design.
Looking forward to being included in the Fight for Kindness book coming out this February
One of my most fun and favorite mini projects of 2025 🙌

Last year I was thrilled to work on a project for one of our favorite and most pinnacle institutions in Portland– the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry.
Following the completed visualization of their 20-Year Vision, 5-Year Strategy, OMSI Values, and OMSI Equity Action Framework, OMSI aimed to explore and highlight the diverse learning pathways their patrons engage in via the Future Learning Framework.
Headed by strategy superheroes we supported visualization for OMSI’s Future Learning Framework, highlighting five learning categories and what learners can gain by cultivating their own multi-dimensional understanding.
Visit www.omsi.edu/mission-vision-values to view all visuals and see what makes more than just a museum.
Note: visualizations in post are mockups and do not necessarily represent how the Future Learning Framework is displayed.

Love the patterns on this one! It was inspired by several paint pattern squares I made and donated for a friend’s art opening (see my reels footage).
Some of my basic creative studio upkeep is looking around at the latest design trends and practicing them. Design prompts are excellent ways for designers to stretch some design skills and put them into action.
This one was skincare with a mid-century modern theme. How’d I do? I have a minor in packaging science so I’ve always loved the way things are put together and come a part when it comes to product and packaging. Did you know you are twice as likely to buy something if you pick it up? That’s another great branding packaging goal 😉
If you need identity design for a skincare line and love this look, it’s up for grabs. DM for details!

Happy Friday! Stepping away for the weekend, so a Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas out there, in all shapes, forms, and meanings of the word 🧡
For me, boy it’s been a journey. Feeling lucky to have put enough of myself out there in the world that the title of ‘mom’ to my daughter is not a sacrifice but a privilege. And the big treat these days is watching the world come into focus for her- like finding her feet for the first time and talking to them 😆 seriously what a lesson to slow down and enjoy the wonder and humor in little things.

❏ Project Highlight: Washington County ARPA Annual Report
✺ We worked with Washington County, OR to create a comprehensive 73-page report showcasing use of funds from the federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The report highlights programs focused on public health and economic impacts of the pandemic, with special attention to addressing disproportionate impacts to marginalized populations.
✎ Definitely a favorite project for us this year, and we couldn’t be happier with the illustration results, Success Stories, data visualization, and amazing content showcasing all the important resources the report's programs provide.
✺ A big thank you goes out to the coordination and collaboration efforts of the team at Washington County. You can follow along with their local news and ongoing ARPA highlights (some available in both English and Spanish) at

From one type fan to another– a few selections I sent in for the book. Never know what happens until you try 😉
Can’t wait to check out the WOT book! Such an inspiring page for all things type and lettering– by women and non-binary creatives. Go send in your good stuff!
