🌧️ Maine has seen plenty of rain this year, but that didn’t stop Captain Zack from making his and Monhegan’s first dock of the season look effortless.

🛥️ Our captains aren’t fazed by a little rain, and this smooth docking is proof. Most people have a hard time docking boats with bow thrusters, joysticks, etc, but our vintage boats take a lot more skill.

☀️ We can all relate to the docking stress, no matter the weather…what are some of the things you’ve said while docking the boat?

☀️ We can’t change the weather but we can change the boat. Monhegan has a canopy with sides that completely roll down and zip up- keeping you dry in the storm.

☔️ When rain pops up, we roll em down. That goes for wind too! Sometimes guests prefer not to feel the wind in their hair, and that’s ok! We can easily roll the sides up and down to fit your comfort level throughout the charter.

🛥️ If you’re wondering what to do when you visit Portland, we are a great choice rain or shine. So don’t worry if cloudy skies are in the forecast, we’re prepared to show you around no matter the weather.

🛥️ The finishing touches on the boat takes days to complete because of the attention to detail we give. Everything gets a once (or twice) over so every part of the boat shines. The guys have been hard at work painting, scrubbing, and sanding and it shows.
