We are incredibly grateful to receive a generous $5,000 gift from the Schnitzer Cares students of David Douglas National Honor Society!
Their mission to expand access to medical and mental healthcare for refugees and immigrants in the Portland metro area closely aligns with our work at Wallace. In sharing why they selected us, they noted, “Wallace believes that our community and families have meaningful access to all areas of healthcare, their approach not only addresses medical need but also fosters support for those who are often underserved.”

May is Mental Health Awareness Month.
This year’s theme, “More Good Days, Together,” reminds us that well‑being is both personal and communal. Taking time to check in, slow down, and stay connected can help create more good days for ourselves and for those around us. At Wallace, we believe mental health care starts with compassion, listening, and community support. No one has to navigate things alone.
