The Jeremy Wilson Foundation (JWF) is a 501(c)3 Nonprofit Musicians' Health & Service Organization.

Very few relief organizations assist working musicians who, as members of the creative class, are often at high risk of financial distress in times of medical emergencies or other unexpected crises. Often due to a lack of fundamental financial security, stability, and a professional business structure, many artists simply cannot afford basic health care or have little to no savings. Adam was recently diagnosed with a Meningioma, a brain tumor requiring surgery. He is unable to work while awaiting surgery, and recovery will take three to six months after that. For a working musician, that's devastating.

Through the JWF Musician Health & Services Program, this campaign helps cover essential medical and living expenses so Adam can focus on healing.

Your tax-deductible gift, in any amount, goes directly to relief and support for Adam’s immediate needs ❤️

Celebrating the Life of Janet Julian
June 6, 1954 – January 6, 2026

Please join us to celebrate the extraordinary life of Janet Julian — musician, artist, community heart, and beloved friend. Come share your stories, your love, and your music.

From the very first days of the JWF, Janet was there — volunteering at events, donating her artwork, and giving everything she had to a cause she believed in with her whole heart. In 15 years, she became one of our most significant donors ever — not through wealth, but through pure, unstoppable generosity of spirit.

There are no words big enough for how deeply we feel her loss. She is missed in ways we cannot fully express — and she always will be.

Behind every note played on a Portland stage is a musician who has poured their heart — and often their health — into sharing that gift with all of us.

The JWF Musician Health & Services Program exists because those artists deserve more than applause. They deserve a safety net.

Whether it's connecting a musician to healthcare, providing emergency financial support, or simply making sure someone knows they're not forgotten — we show up for the people who have always shown up for us.

You've been moved by their music. Now be the reason they keep playing. 💙

On February 15, 2026, something truly special happened at the Alberta Rose Theatre in Portland, Oregon.

James Low's Big Show 2026 was more than a concert. It was a celebration of community, a tribute to love, and a heartfelt farewell to a dear friend — artist and musician Janet Julian, who left us on January 6th. We felt her spirit in every note played that night.

A profound and deeply personal thank you to James Low for his extraordinary vision, leadership, and tireless energy in bringing this evening to life. James, your dedication to this community is a gift we don't take for granted. 💙

And to the incredible all-star band who gave everything they had on that stage:
🎵 Jesse Emerson — Bass
🎵 Ned Folkerth — Drums
🎵 Ian Miller — Guitar
🎵 Paul Brainard — Pedal Steel & Horns
🎵 Kathryn Claire — Fiddle & Vocals
🎵 Lewi Longmire — Guitar, Organ & Vocals
🎵 Jenny Conlee — Piano, Keys & Accordion

And our wonderful special guests:
✨ Johnny Franco and his Real Brother Dom
✨ Poet Tim Sproul

Together, you filled the Alberta Rose with warmth, joy, and a little flamboyant magic on a cold February night — exactly what this community needed.

Thank you to everyone who came out, who gave, and who believes that our music community is worth fighting for.

We are so deeply grateful to announce that Cover Your Hearts 2026 raised $21,000 for Oregon musicians — and every single dollar came from the incredible generosity of our performing artists and the sponsors who believe in this mission.

These bands didn't just show up. They gave — their time, their talent, and their hearts — to make sure musicians in our community have access to the health care and support they deserve.

A huge, heartfelt thank you to:
🎵 RISLEY
🎵 THE FREQUENCE
🎵 SHY HONEY
🎵 BRYAN FREE & JACOB VAN AUKEN
🎵 CAMP CRUSH
🎵 LAEL ALDERMAN & THE HUNGRY HEARTS

And a very special thank you to our generous sponsors who make events like this possible:
💙 Living Room Realty
💙 Neo Home Loans

This is what community looks like. Musicians showing up for musicians — and local businesses showing up for both. We are honored and humbled by your support.

Big news for Oregon musicians! 🎵 https://www.thejwf.org/

The JWF Musician Health & Services Program has expanded — and that means we're here for YOU, even if you're not in crisis.

For years, musicians have come to us when things got really bad. A scary diagnosis. A hospital bill. A health emergency with no safety net. And we were proud to be there.

But now? We want to reach you before it gets to that point.

Through our new partnership with the Oregon Health Authority, our trained Navigators can help you with:

🎸 Health insurance enrollment (OHP & Marketplace)
🎸 Medicare coverage and assistance
🎸 Finding medical, dental, and mental health care
🎸 Understanding your benefits
🎸 Transitioning coverage after a job or life change
🎸 Resolving healthcare access issues

You don't have to be sick to ask for help. You just have to be a working musician in Oregon or Clark County, WA.

Reach out. That's what we're here for. 💙
