I’m sure I’m not the only one loving stripes!

I’ve been working on a new look for the website while also running the shop and finishing orders.

If you stop by the shop, I’m either in the studio cutting and sewing or up front ringing people up. If you see me anywhere else, I’m probably glued to my laptop. And if you happened to spot an Asian woman working on a laptop during a much-needed pedi yesterday… yep, that was me.

Meet Rylan, a young entrepreneur and the face behind Tutti Fruity Slime. 🍓🍍🥥

A Sellwood resident and 7th grader at Sellwood Middle School, Rylan creates slime in a variety of delicious fruity scents. He even has his own logo, beautifully designed packaging, and each slime comes with instructions on how to help it last longer.

We love seeing young makers pursue their passions and share them with the community. His slimes are now available for purchase. Come support Rylan and his slime creations!

Our new dog collar and bandana class, along with our quilting class, starts this week!

This Thursday, we’ll be making custom dog collars and bandanas, and kicking off our very first quilting class using an adorable strawberry quilt kit from . Go check out her Instagram — it’s impossible not to feel inspired!

Of course, our favorite classes are still here too — tote bags and zipper pouches. Many of our students have taken these skills and started creating their own custom bags in all kinds of sizes and styles.

All classes include supplies. Just bring yourself and the enthusiasm to learn! 🧵🧵

This is one of my favorite photos as a mom. I still remember the sweet chaos of raising a busy toddler while caring for a baby. It was exhausting, beautiful, and so worth it.

Now my kids are 17 and 14, and motherhood feels completely different these days. It’s a different kind of motherhood — less physical exhaustion, more emotional stretching. Some days I want to squeeze them tight and smother them with kisses (if they let me), and other days I can’t believe I created these irrational humans. But voilà… that’s motherhood, right?

Thank you to my husband, , for walking through this journey with me and always reminding me that we’re doing okay as parents. I love and appreciate you so much. Thank you to my children for teaching me what matters most in life. And thank you to all the mom friends in my life for letting me be part of your village.

It was such a thoughtful little collection that I had to ask if I could take a photo. He truly has a gift for giving. What a sweet and thoughtful kiddo.
