CASTING CALL:

Angelo (14-16 / Male / Latino) is a dorky, gay teen whose open heart is desperate to find someone he can trust. Seeking actor who speaks Spanish and personally identifies as q***r.

Mila (14-16 / Male / Black) is a masculine gay teen who uses his machismo strength to keep himself safe in a dangerous world.

Shooting for 2 weeks in Portland, OR in summer of 2022. Non-union project, estimated 10 hour shoot days. Actors will receive $2,000 stipend, meals and housing will be provided. DM us or contact [email protected] for instructions on how to audition.

Description: The film Swimming While Drowning follows the relationship between two housless teens that share a room in a shelter for q***r youth. Together, they are able to find connection, strength, and a voice in a world that would rather they disappear.

We cast the exceptional actors filling the terrifying reality of ’s newest short with her company titled “Swipe Left” Available on YouTube now. Always proud to be working with Sommer on important projects like this!

Happy Black History Month! We kicked off our celebration at a middle school in the Beaverton School District where we had a conversation about the film “Another Day” with and Please share this film in your community as well and use the discussion questions to figure out how you can make changes to ensure Black Lives Matter this month and every month.
