This treat is exported exclusively from Portland Oregon. This page is for keeping up to date on production releases, and gig dates for Forrest Avery. Members will be able to easily stay up to date on all of my upcoming releases, as well as the date/locations of my upcoming shows. Trigger channel 3 bucket drum(I used the mic to record hitting a plastic bucket with a drum stick to make this sound)
Each channel also has various FX on it as. Delays, echoes, twisted echo, and enigma jet, bass duckers, and pan delays.
This is just meant to be a preview of the new series of videos I will be launching very soon, so it's recorded just using my phone cam/speaker. The final versions will have multiple camera angles, and direct line out audio recordings.

The Weekend Wind Down w/ Forrest Avery Every Saturday around 3am is back again this week and features special guest Della Rae Howard from EyeLuv.
Della is an event vendor who is just straight up doing it right. The Weekend Wind Down is back every week starting late night Saturday and going into Sunday. New guests every week. Show will run starting between 3 and 4am Sunday Morning(Saturday night basically), and run into the afternoon of the next day. Featuring Dj performances of various genres and styles, guests of all kinds(Not just musicians), musical discussions and on the fly collaborations, and an overall focus on crowd participation and interaction.
We are live right now going into an Afrobeat intertmission followed by Freestyle trigger instrument throwdown with Modeski Martin and Wood:

This Thursday February 1st at Mighty Moe's Tanker is the first official HOTpodge with Forrest Avery!
HOTpodge is a variety show focusing on live performances, freestyle MC sessions, improve collaborations and off the wall, out of the box, and into your holes(yes all of them) musical shenanigans from a rotating cast of badass musicians, vocalists, and general weirdos!
February's special guests and set times:
9-10: Live band and Dj fusion set featuring cover songs from JP3 and Forrest Avery
10-11: Freestyle compliment battle hosted by Ashanti. This will be an open mic freestyle session, but participants are required to spit rhymes that compliment either the other MCs, the venue, people from the crowd, the DJ, or of course YO MAMA!
11-12: Takodelic is a one man live looping percussion and synth wizard. The last portion of the set will be an improve jam with Forrest Avery providing trigger pad and turntablism support and Dustin Z on guitar.
12-1: Headchange! Dustin Z and JP3's psychedelic rock duo performances feature originals and select covers from favorites like Led Zeppelin, Widespread Panic, Lynyrd Skynyrd. This set also features backup support from Forrest Avery on Trigger pad instruments.
1-close: Forrest Avery and Ashanti get wild with a Drum & Bass Dj/MC throwdown to close out the evening.
No required cover but the musicians are playing for tips and donations so a $5 contribution is suggested, but nobody is turned away.

Forrest Avery is organic, free range, grass fed, and spicy AF! f you would like to enjoy this tasty treat, but are unable to find a fresh one in your local market, then you can follow this recipe:
42 Parts Freshness(Its not possible to be fresh, so go ahead and just dump the bottle in)
1 Part Turntablist
1 Part House Dj
1 Part bass music Dj
1 part..... f**k it just put 1 Part of every dj you can find.
1 Part producer
A jig or two of freak Sauce to give it some kick.
2 very large balls of some kind. The bouncier the better.
Mix vigorously while listening to very loud music until its nice and smooth. Be sure not to crush the balls!. This must be done by hand.
Set mixture in front of bass bin, and allow to chill overnight. Finally, bake on High for about 25 years.
Put some stank on it, and Serve HOT as f**k!
