Our logo design for in Portland OR is inspired by paper cutouts and vintage scandinavian illustrations. Got any name ideas for this little pinecone friend?
Conceptually the pinecone represents the kids that, with the help of this childcare place, can grow into trees.

Transatlantika is proactively proposing an alternative logo and visual identity for Fridays for Future Deutschland.
Our ambition is to support the cause and donate the designs to the organisation and protesters are welcome to use the logo, which can be downloaded on our website.

As of now Fridays for Future is using a intricate handdrawn illustration of planet earth as their logo. Transatlantika’s newly proposed design aims for a more distinguishing approach that lets the movement be recognised easily.
Fridays for Future is a climate strike initiative led and organised by youth. Started by Greta Thunberg in 2018, it is now an influential worldwide movement.
Youth come together to protest and demand action from political leaders. Preventing climate change and calling for the fossil fuel industry to transition to renewable energy is their main goal.
Setting out to design a new logo for Fridays for Future, Transatlantika’s objective was to create a positive symbol that is unique, easy to read and carries a lot of meaning.
The result is an abstract depiction of planet earth with three swirling “f” letters. The logo contains a wide range of symbolism. Apart from the obvious depiction of our planet, it includes three f’s and generally conveys a sense of change. The shapes are also reminiscent of leaves, waves, helping hands and wind turbines.

Conception, design and development of the MYRA smart radio app. MYRA is available for testing as a working prototype. If you are interested in being one of the first users, message or email us!
See the full case study here: https://transatlantika.co/myra
MYRA is designed to provide highly individualized and localized radio content for her listeners.
Without having to choose specific content the listener can enjoy music, news, event infos and more. Real radio hosts address the listener and a personalized stream is created each time MYRA is turned on.
Segments that were played earlier can be accessed again.
To ensure the surprise character of traditional radio, future content (except the next song) intentionally cannot be skipped to.
The stream content can be easily changed by the user with the help of MYRA’s innovative Radiolytics feature.
Just by making circles bigger or smaller the algorythm can be easily adjusted.
The logo design plays with the form of an amplitude and the letter m. Fresh colors are used in combination with the technical but playful Guida typeface.
A simple and modular system of navigational elements make the app very easy to use.
