Greens Giving Back

Today's Distro was a HUGE success, thanks to our incredible volunteers and donations from our supportive community!

We were able to provide the following items to Portlands unhoused people: Water, electrolyte drinks, coffee, cucumber sandwiches, PB&J sandwiches, fruit snacks and granola bars, canned soup, packaged meals... Shampoo, soap, deodorant, toothbrushes, condoms, tampons and pads, first aid kits, ci******es... Clothes, socks, shoes, reusable bags, sleeping bags, blankets, and backpacks!

SHOUT-OUT to Rachael from West End Outreach for always help collect donations and always going above & beyond to meet our community needs! 🏆

Today was a stellar success! 😎

It was a super hot day, so people were in desperate need of cold beverages, premade food, and hygiene supplies. We served up plenty of yummy food, coffee, and even some great live music!

THANK YOU to everyone who donated their money, supplies, and time to our cause. You are making this happen!

We are nearly one week away from our next community Distro!

Today was a success! With the help our of generous donors and our awesome team of mutual aid volunteers, we were able to serve the unhoused community downtown and the folks at Deering Oaks!

We got hungry people fed with pasta and potato salad, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, fresh fruit and vegetable cups, snack bags, doughnuts, and strawberry rhubarb pie! We gave out dozens upon dozens of cold water to folks struggling in the heat, and provided a coffee bar for those in need of a pick-me-up.

We passed out personal care supplies like toothbrushes, deodorant, soap, condoms, and menstrual products. We gave out masks and Narcan. There were also free clothes and a canned/dried foot pantry on site.

Above all, we offered our compassion, love, and good vibes... with great live music by Jim and Justin "JP" Beth.
