2025: A Mixed Bag

This year, I saw some amazing shows, I played some too. I started a new job, made some awesome new friends…I also felt depressed, distant, and discouraged for some of it.

I spoke with my therapist, my friends, and family. I remembered to surround myself with people who truly love and care about me.

And I had fun, I sang A LOT of karaoke. I learned how to say “I’m 40” without scrunching my face up 😅 because aging is a privilege. I found more excuses to wear my crown both literally and figuratively.

I am ready for what 2026 has for me 🖤

I’m performing solo at Minifest PDX this Saturday! 🎤✨ This night will be packed with amazing local & touring independent artists — and here’s the big thing: my set will be filmed.

That means I need my people in the room so when I look out at the crowd on video, I see YOU — the ones who’ve been backing me from the start. Your faces, your energy, your vibes… that’s what makes the footage (and the performance) come alive. 🙌

Signs of life…lately.

I’ve been out for a minute 🫤 here’s some things that have happened recently in my world. Included are: several selfies, a serendipitous birds x wicked mash up…a video of me crying at -which will happen without fail every time I see her live, wacky times on no sleep with frands, bees 🐝, more attempts to get a good photo of both my nails and face, and a very pensive pup. What a life!

I’m a birthday babe today! This has been quite a year. I learned some hard lessons, but also had a lot of victories. Like, this show for example was the best show of the year. It’s not just that I performed well, we were all just…on fkn fire that night! There’s no way to describe how it feels when I’m performing. I love what I do. I have been working my whole life for music to be my life, and it is. It continues to be not easy, but it is worth it. I am looking forward to my best year yet!

Please don’t give up on your dreams, even if you struggle in making them come true. Even if you’re shy, even if you don’t think anyone cares, even if you think it’s crap, even if some rando says “it’s crap”. Do it anyway.

That’s my birthday wish… Please believe in your own magic.
