Snacks and light refreshments will be served at the opening reception.
GAGALLERY is a vibrant art gallery and community space in Portland, Oregon. We offer a variety of events, classes and exhibitions. We are open for special events, evening receptions, First Friday Art Walks, and by private appointment. Our mission is to promote the work of visual and performance based artists and to create a welcoming space for the community to come together.

Muslimahs United invites Muslim women and girls ages 16 and up to apply for our 5th Annual Showcase of Muslim Women’s Art. This is a special opportunity to celebrate creativity, resilience, faith, and artistry while sharing our stories through our own perspectives

Artists of all experience levels are welcome. All mediums and types of art are encouraged to apply.What matters most is your commitment, determination, and follow through.

Selected artists will have the opportunity to present their work in this unique showcase, to be viewed by the whole community, as well an artists evening to connect with fellow creatives, and be part of a vibrant community celebrating Muslim women’s artistry.

Art show tentatively will be held the weekend of May 15-16th Portland metro area

Gagallery is accepting submissions of MASK RELATED ARTWORK for our October exhibition. These do not need to be wearable or traditional masks, nor do they need to be three dimensional. Please interpret the word "mask" as you see fit.

Submission deadline: August 8, 2025

Artist notifications will be sent by August 15, 2025

This exhibition will run October 3 - 25, 2025, with an opening reception on October 3rd.

Artwork must be delivered to Gagallery (2035 SE Belmont Street, Portland, OR) by September 28th.

Gallery receives a 30% commission on all sales of artworks.
