Attention all parents: An art contest with an important lesson. What happens after a stroke? We are launching a contest for stroke awareness. A child can learn what a stroke is, how it affects someone, and what community support is available.
I encourage children that try to see what it is like to not have both hands to use by wearing a glove as a reminder to not move that hand for a day. How does it work to wash your face? How does it feel to put your shoes on?
The contest is now open for submissions. Please share this with your friends. I would love to see as many children as possible be involved in this contest to raise awareness of strokes.
Calling for Children's Art for Stroke Awareness EXTENDED - Your Health Forum In partnership with the NW Brain Network, we want to accept children's art submissions to increase stroke awareness and advocacy! Winners will see their work encouraging stroke patients and receive cash prizes
