That’s a wrap! It was an eventful week with Rocco. He had his dogs pals over, we went to a training class (Problem Solved Training) and structured group training walk (), did some public access training around Portland and Freeport, and went on plenty of enriching forest adventures. Til next time little (big) buddy! ✨💙

A solid 10 days at Mia’s house is complete!! We had a blast romping around in all of the snow and snoozing together on the couch 🥰 I’ve been watching this girlie for two years now and she is quite the pup to get to know 💙

Aaaaand one more Rocco post! Eider and I had a blast spending our weekend with Rocco. The not-so-little dude did some good work with tricks, recall, and neutrality.

ALMA IS BACK IN TOWN!!! ✨ We had a big day today with her and her human. We romped on the beach and walked all over the Old Port and Munjoy Hill hitting a few different dog friendly stores. These two rocked it! They remained engaged, neutral and even relaxed in these stimulating environments. We had one doggie blow up in one of the pet stores when a big ole Lab dragged his human over to Eider and Alma sticking his face right in the face of these two in a small space. Alma reacted first, redirected onto Eider and then Eider started yelling at her for snapping at him 🫠 Fortunately, all ended well and these two recovered beautifully after their rightful reactions to the situation. 💙

Meet Rocco!! He's a 4.5 month old German Shepherd from the same breeder as Eider! He actually has the same sire as Kenya!
He and his human make a great team. They're taking puppy classes and staying on top of proper socialization! We're working on building neutrality out in the world and pairing him up with appropriate older dogs to do parallel activities with and possibly a couple of solid playmates.
I'm looking forward to watching him grow up and take on the world with confidence, security and ease.
