A young filmmaker confronts addiction, family & memory as he chronicles his dad’s journey to recover lost memories following a TBI.

As memories return in the form of dreams the family struggles with acceptance of this new version of their father. This documentary film will chronicle my father Tod’s recovery from a traumatic brain injury. After an 8 day long coma and month long paraplegia it became apparent that despite dramatic improvement, some brain function is still impaired, including the ability to access certain memories

Every now and then we need a reminder of what we've been through and how much we can handle. Can't believe how lucky I am to be surrounded by the toughest people I know - my family. No Quit! Keep pushing today! Its an oldie but a goodie - short film about my bro and my dad -

Today marks 13 years since my dads fall 🙏🏼

Grateful is an understatement….. We are so thankful to have him around these days to spend quality time together. Not everyone is given a second chance after something so fatal. Although he isn’t the same person mentally as he was before his accident, we have grown to know & love “Toddy 2.0” 🧠💪🏼🥹

Happy “re-birth” Dad! We all love you so much! Thanks for always being so positive along this rocky path. You are our Rock & our Beacon of Hope ✌🏼

Maybe he doesn’t always feel like he can do what he did before his accident….Maybe some days are harder than others. Maybe he needs a nudge at times to get out there and try his best!

Thanks Gail Odonnell Mom for pushing dad to TRY his best! ⛳️

ANY movement is better than NO movement!

Go get em dad!!!

My brothers film “The House We Lived In” touches on this exact concept…..

What are we without our memories?

Who are we if/when they disappear?

How frightening must this be….

If you haven’t watched, it’s now available on multiple platforms! Just say into your remote: “The House We Lived In” and BAM 💥 it shows up!

We are so proud of this project ❤️❤️ Thank you all for being in here & supporting it 🍿

An oldie but a goodie 😍😍

Toddy cherishes his time with all of his grandchildren. We are all blessed that he has the opportunity to create memories with them as the “new Toddy”. The only grandchild who knew the “old version” of our dad is Molly. It’s a hard concept at times, but again, we are so grateful that he is here!

I tell my kids stories about the older version of Toddy often! Moral of the story is: Make each day count! Say “I love you” when you feel it. Smile at a stranger. Do that scary thing you have been putting off. Life is too short for regrets 🥹

Find gratitude in each & every day…..Life is too short. A positive mindset can make a huge difference in the way we live our lives ☀️
