Dear Lord,

As the days grow longer and the sun warms the earth, we thank You for the beauty of creation awakening around us. Bless our hearts with the same light and joy that fills the skies. May the oncoming summer be a season of renewal - a time to rest in Your presence, to cherish family and friends, and to serve others with love.

Today Catholics around the world celebrate Corpus Christi, a feast honoring the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist. Many visitors come to The Grotto seeking quiet moments of prayer and reflection before Mass. Wherever you are today, we hope you find time for prayer and gratitude.

The lower level of The Grotto is open daily and free to visit

All are welcome to come and enjoy The Cave, Chapel of Mary, Gift Shop, Plaza, Interpretive Center, and Stations of the Cross, as well as many places to sit and reflect.

Today at 12 p.m., we gather for the monthly St. Peregrine Healing Mass at The Grotto.

The lesson of Peregrine’s life is not that God worked a miracle, but that a faithful, trustful servant placed himself, unconditionally, in the hands of our Lord. Peregrine’s trust in God can be a model for us in dealing with the pain, sickness and crosses of our lives.

In the serenity of the Upper Gardens, I walk beneath the towering trees that stretch like faithful sentinels toward Your eternal light. Grant me eyes to see Your glory in every leaf and shadow, a heart filled with grateful wonder for this sacred gift, and the grace to nurture Your world with humble care.

May these gardens renew my spirit, drawing me ever closer to Your divine embrace.

This Saturday at noon, we invite you to join us for the St. Peregrine Healing Mass at The Grotto.

St. Peregrine is known as the patron saint of those suffering from cancer and serious illness. Many come each month seeking healing, comfort, and prayer.

🙏 Prayer of St. Peregrine:

"Graciously hear the prayers which we present O God, to you in honor of St. Peregrine, your beloved servant and patron of those suffering from cancer, AIDS, or other life-threatening disease. Grant that we may receive help in our needs through the intercession of him whose life was so pleasing to you. Hear us in the name of Christ, our Lord. Amen."

The St. Peregrine Healing Mass is celebrated on the first Saturday of every month at 12 p.m.
