I finally had a chance to create a compilation using some of the images I took of the total solar eclipse.

Earlier this month, I backpacked the 93-mile Wonderland Trail which circumnavigates Mount Rainier in Washington. It was a challenging hike with a total of 22,000 feet of elevation gains and losses but the views were spectacular!

FBF to May 20, 2012 and photos that I took of a solar eclipse. It was the first Annular Solar Eclipse visible from the United States in 18 years. The first photo that I am posting shows the maximum that the eclipse reached from my vantage point in Placerville, California. In the second photo, I created a compilation of the phases throughout the eclipse. I am so excited for the upcoming total eclipse and hope to capture some shots of this incredible event.

On this rainy morning, I decided to revisit some photos that I took a few years ago. This was one of the many waterfalls that we saw while on a camping trip around Iceland. I accidentally took a wrong turn down a narrow road and came upon this gem. The hike down to the waterfall was beautiful and the landscape was breathtaking. With its untouched landscape, Iceland is one of the most beautiful countries I have ever visited.
