As a lifelong reader the absolute WORST thing that can happen when you're in a great book is having to stop reading - especially when you're on the precipice of something great happening. Coming back into real life is a shock to the system, and can cause people to take insane actions like...dog-earing pages. Yikes. I don't even want to think about an atrocity like that!

The artwork for all of our products is drawn by hand here in our tiny Maine studio (or potentially at the beach, in the car, in the woods - but always by hand, no ai ever). We print, cut and laminate them here, too - and these are wrapped in the most luxurious soft-touch matte laminate you can dream of. 

Our bookmarks are just around 2.25 x 6", and read to stay seated right where you left off.

Audiobooks are still books. No discussion needed, really.

There have been studies that show listening to an audiobook impacts brain activity in all of the same ways. I'm always listening to an audiobook, I'll listen to things I've read with my eyes just to hear someone else's interpretation of character mannerisms. I know, big nerd. Also, there are people who quite literally cannot read with their eyes, and if you try to tell me that if they devour books with their ears that's not reading I will fight you. :)
