Let's go to the market! If you haven't heard yet, My People's Market is back for our 14th market and this time we're back at . Shopping food, live entertainment and much more. You won't want to miss out. It's all happening THIS WEEKEND, Saturday and Sunday, June 8 + 9 from 12-6 pm.

Check out the 25th anniversary block party and fundraiser tonight!

Our 25th birthday block party is this Saturday!!

Catch , (, and at our very first loading dock DJ booth.

will be popping up with delicious food and we'll have snacks and baked goods from & friends, , plus a birthday cake from !

The bar will be stocked with lovingly mixed into cocktails by , as well as , and .

Party games from will be there and we'll be surrounded by flower creations from and decorative wares from our neighbors .

There will also be a silent auction table and live screen and letterpress printing stations in the studio!
So many special community members came together to make this happen. We hope to see you there! Link in bio to rsvp or donate to the fundraiser- giving to either get you into the party. No one turned away for lack of funds.

have had Rec Dept games at their big summer big event four years in a row now (okay not counting 2020 and 2021) and it's always a fun opportunity to take a photo with so many of the games together. And also just want to give a special shout out to the ace event team at McMenamins edgefield!

Portland Mercado's Taste of Latin America is back! On August 12th and 13th from 12pm-6pm join us at the Portland Mercado to celebrate the vibrant cultures from across Central and South America! Hacienda CDC's Portland Mercado is a Portland staple known for Latin flavors and its colorful atmosphere; its renowned Taste of Latin America event began in 2019. Taste of Latin America will provide a unique and immersive experience into Latin American cuisine and culture and is a prime opportunity to support local small businesses and Latinx entrepreneurs!

A wonderful perk about this job is going out and visiting cool venues. Here's some behind the scenes of setting up games at the beautiful and charming this morning. it's a beautiful spacious venue just a few minutes from Portland. Had a great time at World Maker Faire last weekend! Amongst the amazing exhibits and amazing DIY projects were some really great games, including: giant skeeball, cardboard pinball (including a four player pinball game), and a giant human vs robot Connect Four Game!
