In the cities we love, buzzing along with the motion of the people, the sounds of the city in motion, and in the darkness that is contrasted by the bright lights... something lies beneath un-noticed by most of us. Human trafficking is a dramatic story we see in shows or movies, and the reality is that it's not just stories. This is a global problem, and Portland has become the second biggest hub human trafficking in the United States! Freedom With Dignity provides services that enable extraction, restoration, success training, and work placement for human trafficking victims in order to open up a life of possibilities for them. This is no small job, and there is so many different ways you can contribute to eliminating this problem from Portland, and eventually the world. Everyone deserves to be free, and everybody has a right to be treated with dignity.
