I’ve partnered with artist Anna Chovie to bring a fun new collection of limited edition food themed pill organizers! Head over to my website to check them out (link in bio)

Anna Chovie is a mixed media artist and fake food enthusiast. The eclectic body of work aims to connect to the viewer through shared experience, nostalgic memories, and visceral reactions via recognizable, mostly food-themed subjects.

Jess Kopp is the artist behind Anna Chovie. A lifelong crafter, much of her work is inspired by a long time fascination with vintage jello mold recipes, Amy Sedaris, and all things kitschy and witchy. Every tiny detail is made by hand in Seattle.

Today I’m remembering my mom who passed away a year ago. She was kind, loving, silly, creative, and adventurous. My mom loved being a mom and filled me and my brother’s childhoods with joy and wonder. One of my favorite early memories was my mom building houses out of cardboard boxes and letting me and my toddler friends paint them. My mom loved all living creatures and on one of my last calls with her she told me about an ant hill she befriended. She was bringing them snacks each day and seeing which ones they liked best. She loved M&Ms, Diet Pepsi, French toast, and lasagna. She loved impressionist paintings and sketched in a similar style. Her favorite flowers were irises and she loved the color purple.

Pill Joy exists because my mom always encouraged my creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. As a kid I would brainstorm with her about different inventions and she’d always gleefully say, ā€œYou’ll make a million bucks!ā€ My mom was a visiting nurse who saw patients in their homes. She went above and beyond to bring joy to their lives and I’m trying to carry on in her footsteps.

I miss my mom so much and am doing my best to keep her memory alive šŸ’œ

Pill Joy is The Strategist’s pick for the most delightful pill organizer!! I’m so honored to help bring whimsical pill organizers to the masses. The Strategist is part of New York Magazine which has a readership of over 1.8 million people each week. This kind of exposure and vote of confidence from a media pillar is a huge boost for my small business.

The journalist who wrote the article found me after a Pill Joy fan recommended me in the comments section of their previous best pill organizer article. I’m so grateful to everyone who shares the good news about Pill Joy! I can’t express how much word of mouth has built my business. Y’all are amazing!

There’s been a big boost in orders and I’m doing my best to keep up with the demand! I’ll be doing a shop drop in the coming weeks with brand new designs so join my email newsletter to get in the fun! (Link in bio)

I came home Sunday night after Crafty Wonderland to this email and I started crying immediately (in the best way) 😭😭😭Words of affirmation mean so much to me and I was really touched that this person took the time to write to me. It feels so good to be seen!

Sometimes I feel insecure and my brain tells me mean things. But at my core is a person who wants to make the world a better place. It feels really good to have that affirmed!! And now I have another sweet note to read when I’m feeling down to help me keep going šŸ’œšŸ’œ

Thank you kind stranger and everyone who’s ever shared a kind word with me!

Day three of Crafty Wonderland was another whirlwind in the best way! I shattered my previous sales record by more than double, but more importantly than the sales was a record number of deeply meaningful connections with folks. My heart is overflowing with joy from seeing the rippling impacts my little idea is having on people’s lives. I had so many people come up to thank me for changing chronic illness and disability by making it fun and fashionable. For making a unique gift that will improve their loved ones’ quality of life. For having a Giving Program that makes my art accessible to all. Customers from throughout the past four years come up to my booth all the time to tell me how much their pill organizers are helping them (and still holding up!). And did I mention all the jaw drops and tears people have when they see Pill Joy for the first time?? Markets are so magical!!

These were some of my favorite fits from the day and each of these folks was beautiful inside and out. The human in the fourth pic made that sweater themselves šŸ¤ÆšŸ˜ and the first picture is KT of

Wow!! The first two days of have been so much fun and wildly busy! It warms my heart to see how much Pill Joy means to people who’ve never had the joy of a pill organizer that reflects their personality.

Speaking of personality—folks have been so stylish I wanted all of you to be able to see some of the fabulous outfits. This is just a fraction of the fashions I got to see today, but I feel so fed by my customers’ creative attire. And the first pic is me in one of my favorite looks. Can you tell purple is my favorite color?

is the one with the fabulous hat!

The fall drop is here! This drop is the culmination of adapting to what my bodymind needs. Having time based goals helps motivate me, but they also stress me out (maybe you can relate?) I set a drop date but then needed to push it back by a few days. No one got mad at me. I got a ton of sales from my newsletter subscribers. And though the IG algorithm didn’t shine its favor upon my drop day reel, I’ve decided it’s okay to post about it again.

There isn’t one way to run a business. In fact, there are infinite ways to run an accessible business, which is what I aim to do for myself and my customers.

So here is another drop post! I’m excited to be able to offer more single dose pill boxes and AM/PM designs than ever before!!

If deadlines are hard for you too, drop a šŸ‘» in the comments ā¬‡ļø
