"The most rewarding part of my work with Lahash is seeing the lives of these children and students truly transformed.
When I traveled to Rwanda in 2019, I met one of our students, Anny, and she was still maturing and figuring out who she was. I got to visit with her when we traveled to Rwanda in 2023, and it was such a joy to see how she had blossomed and was excited to make an impact on the world around her after completing her high school degree and pursuing higher education in psychology!" -Jessica, Administrative Assistant

New story! lahash.org/stories! Read about our recent student retreat in Kenya!
“The part of the retreat that impacted me the most was the time of prayer and reflection on the Word of God. During that time, I had the opportunity to be quiet, think deeply about my life, and reflect on how I live my faith every day. It helped me feel closer to God and realize the areas in my life where I need to improve.” -Emmanuel, Stand With Students scholar.

FACE TO FACE WITH GLORY - Lahash A small child of five years old arrived with mismatched shoes on her feet. She had with her a humble bedsheet and a plastic cup. Timidly, the girl named Glory began boarding school with very little of her own. She was welcomed by a local ministry dedicated to supporting children with Albinism. Glor...

"Lahash provides a perfect environment for personal growth, career development, spiritual renewal and great opportunities to balance work, rest and family responsibilities. Genuine love, humility, compassion for the children, and zeal for the work are some of the common traits you will observe among the staff. Over and above all else, when you work with Lahash you directly take part in making real and measurable positive changes in the lives of vulnerable kids and their families around East Africa. I don’t regret making a decision to work here." - Saggiah, Stand With Students Director

Every one to two minutes, a child under five dies from malaria. The disease is preventable and treatable, and yet the World Health Organization reports that more than 600,000 people still die from it each year—most of them young children. Simple tools like bed nets can significantly reduce the risk of infection and save lives. Our ministry partners in East Africa provide nets to the children in their programs and help with treatment and transportation to the hospital so children can be tested.
Your gift or monthly Sponsorship of a child helps provide care to vulnerable children and helps fight back against the effects of malaria. lahash.org/give
