SMILE Summer Music

Let's cap off a great summer in Sellwood with a Summer Free For All concert on Sunday! This year SMILE is partnering with Portland Parks & Recreation to bring you the Too Loose Cajun/Zydeco Band! They bring their high energy south Louisiana dancehall sound to upper Sellwood Park. The weather may be Louisiana-like, but we'll be in the shade, so come on out! See you there at 6:30!

SMILE Summer Music is excited to present for our final concert at Moreland Presbyterian Church, singer, songwriter and poet, Beth Wood. Join us at 6:30 for this very special show with one of Oregon's premier performers.

What a weekend that was in Sellwood! Between Saturday at the Summerville Street Fair, our SMILE Summer Music series, and Sundae in the Park there was so much great entertainment (brought to you by SMILE, your neighborhood association)! Thanks to all of the performers and the amazing audiences for it all. Let's do it again next year!

It's a busy celebratory weekend in Sellwood! And SMILE is sponsoring music Saturday afternoon at the Summerville Street Fair, Saturday evening at Moreland Presbyterian Church, and Sunday at Sundae in the Park.

On Saturday, between 11:15 am and 4 pm at the plaza by Gino's on SE 13th & Spokane, enjoy SMURK, the Hannah Brown Trio, the Ross Island Ramblers, and Arlie Connor & the Abettors.

Then at 6:30 as part of the SMILE Summer Music it's Story and Tune! And at Sundae in the Park in Sellwood Park on Sunday, check out performances by Ants Ants Ants, Classical Ballet Academy, Chords Music School, and Carpathian-Pacific Express!

There's lots going on in Sellwood this weekend! With the Summerville Street Fair and Sundae in the Park happening, don't forget we've got the fourth of our six SMILE Summer Music concerts on Saturday evening at the Moreland Presbyterian Church parking lot.
