Laced Up PDX

📸 They say a picture speaks a thousand words! 🫶🏼 But sometimes you gotta know the story behind the picture to really understand what you’re looking at. LacedUpPDX started with a simple idea rooted in a not-so-simple story. What happens when you take what you’ve been through, what you’ve seen your community go without, and decide to do something about it? What started as one idea has grown into so much more than a pair of shoes. It’s the first game, the first pair of sneakers, the first time a kid gets to experience something they never thought they would. It’s families finding support, coaches opening their doors, and community partners saying,
“I’m in. What can I do?” Those are the moments we do it for. And the truth is, none of this happens because of LacedUp alone. Impact happens when a community steps up and decides that showing up matters. That’s what these pictures really capture, not just events or smiles for the camera, but pieces of a much bigger story.
And this is only the story so far. We’ve got more communities to reach, more firsts to create, and a whole lot more to build. You’ll see us out in the community all year long, so keep watching.
