Here’s a little about myself:

🍫 My favorite snack is anything chocolate-related, but I love most foods, and eating is one of my hobbies.
👩‍🍳 I often get annoyed that I have to cook to feed myself, though in the end, I appreciate the results. And halfway in I might have enjoyed the process. Once in a blue moon, I cook and bake and I REALLY enjoy it!
💍 I am married and a very romantic person, I do have my limits, though the far up there.
📷 I believe life is a complex art form, and I love capturing it through photography. I started photographing portraits in 2021.
🎨 I enjoy other forms of art as well. I like to sketch people, paint with traditional mediums, and occasionally create digital art. I can consider myself more of the artsy type.
☯️ I enjoy exploring different religions and philosophies. Trying to be kind to yourself and others might be the best way to describe my belief system.
🐣 I am passionate about learning about behavior—mine, others', and animals'—throughout development. I have a background in Psychology and Early Childhood Education. Working with children is a delight and, at times, they are the best teachers.
🤪 Sometimes, a good cry is medicine, but a good laugh is the better. While being serious can be fun, I love being goofy! Life is a paradox.
🚲 I enjoy watching movies, listening to audiobooks or podcasts, reading, going out to eat or ordering in, rollerblading, longboarding, snowboarding, dancing, or just “hurkle-durkle,” especially in the winter.
🌐 I was born and raised in Germany for the first half of my life and in Portland, Oregon, for the other half. Soon, I will no longer be able to say that! ;) My Instagram is filled with travel and animal reels, although I don’t travel nearly as much as I would like to.
📜With some exceptions, if I make a commitment I show up. I guess that's very German of me.
