Love to see two of our favorite partners, FACT Oregon and Unitus Community Credit Union collaborating around such great work!
We were honored to gather for another CEO Social DEIA Advocacy Hour today.
Our theme this month focused on Neurodiversity. To help highlight our awareness and understanding on the topic, Steven Stapp, CUDE co-hosted the social with Ronda Wagner, VP of Consumer Lending, and welcomed our guest speaker, Heather Olivier, Deputy Director of FACT Oregon.
At FACT Oregon, Heather leads efforts focused on family support, training, community partnership, and systems improvement for children and families across Oregon. With a background in special education, early childhood, and leadership development, she is dedicated to helping families and professionals work together to create more effective, welcoming, and responsive systems.

Being part of a community is essential to living a healthy, whole life.
For many people we support, meaningful community participation takes the right kind of support, and that’s where Community Vision comes in. We encourage and facilitate participation in a wide range of community activities, driven by each person’s interests.
This year, community connections looked like joining a table tennis club, exploring a new public library with inclusive sensory spaces, and even volunteering as an assistant to the Portland Pickles mascot.

The CV community celebrated the holidays by coming together for an afternoon of karaoke and cocoa! Old friends and new socialized, played games, and sang to each other.
Even in this dark and rainy time of year, the people we support have the opportunity to feel the warmth of connection and belonging. May 2026 be full of joy and community for all! ❤️🌲✨

We have just two days left to raise $2,500 and meet our fundraising goal. You can help us reach it!
Your donation builds a future where everyone belongs.
Every day, Community Vision helps create a world where people with disabilities are included, accepted, and able to live the life they choose.
Medicaid funding has been critical to these efforts. For people with disabilities, Medicaid-funded programs go beyond access to healthcare and include support in the home, community, and at work. The people we support are able to live life on their own terms because of our services.
Looming cuts to Medicaid threaten people's ability to choose where they live, how they spend their days, who their caregivers are, and other basic aspects of their lives.
Let's show our community that this is unacceptable.
Join us and donate to continue ensuring agency, dignity, inclusion for people with disabilities. All people deserve to make the choices that define their lives.
