Nearing the final punch list for the new Oregon StateTreasury building. The project will attain the highest seismic resilience rating, is designed to LEED gold, and features multiple living walls and more than 30 Pacific Northwest artists. Congrats to the entire project team - we can’t wait to share more about this unique project in the coming months.

A standout civic design FFA Architecture and Interiors] and built , the new Police Station reflects its coastal character in a subtle way.
As our own David Dwyer notes, “The warmth of cross-laminated timber and the unique geometry of the shell and concrete shingles evokes a giant rock - also showing off its resiliency - for top-notch design.”
A wonderful example of thoughtful civic design with a top-notch team.

It’s Thursday! Summer is the perfect time to pull up a chair and watch the sunset from Stoller Estates patio with a glass of their award-winning wine.
We love to work with wineries and the iconic Stoller Family Estate was a standout for the entire Klosh team. As a winery leader in sustainable building and viticulture practices, Stoller Estate elevates the game with the cutting-edge tasting room.
Urbane and sophisticated with an industrial edge, the space was designed for a net-zero impact in keeping with Stoller Estate’s ethos. Six wood columns salvaged from a remodel of Powell’s Bookstore anchor the light-infused space, while cabinet veneers were sourced from a 200-year-old windfall white oak. The ceiling and siding are salvaged Douglas Fir. We love the ceiling’s warmth and organicity, designed to evoke the rolling hills of wine country. Stunning!
We congratulate Stoller Family Estate on another nomination for USA Today’s Best Tasting Room in the Nation. You can vote for them through their link .
Cheers!

We are so honored to have participated in the construction of this extraordinary Gerry Frank l Salem Rotary Amphitheater project along the historic riverfront in Salem, Oregon, in coordination with CB Two Architects and Dalke Construction.
We offer our congratulations to the winners of the Ben Maxwell award, Salem Rotary and city of Salem Public Works, for their commitment to the City of Salem in bringing this vision to life. As an anchor to one of the largest urban parks in the country, this amphitheater invites new energy to downtown Salem.
As an homage to the rich history of the Native American Kalapuya tribe who lived in the area, the distinctive basketweave design of the sweeping arches is inspired by the woven wood baskets of the Kalapuya tradition. Aaron Terpening with CB Two notes that the design weaves together Salem’s history and its future both literally and symbolically.
