"Duel Flowers" was a fun drawing using the same flower in opposing contrasting colors. It makes for an interesting symmetrical image using PanPastels and colored pencils. Experimenting with PanPastels mixed with colored pencils was a new challenge. I thought the deep purple background with the orange flower next to the brilliant orange background with the blue flower created a wonderful juxtaposition for this drawing.
