Handle With Care PDX

With the help of St. Pius X Middle School, we’ve completed and delivered 400 care kits to Blanchet House. These students built these kits during their annual Middle School Day of Service. It’s a hot week in Portland! Handle With Care just donated 800 bottles of water to Blanchet House for our houseless neighbors.

If you want to help, they’re accepting donations now! They’re looking for single-use and refillable water bottles and cold treats, like popsicles.

Drop off: Mon-Sat 8-10:30am or 1:30-4pm

We’re so excited to be supporting with donations to create 50 backpack care kits! Our classmate started working with this nonprofit through our school to create these care kits for houseless individuals. HWC x Bounceback 🎉

We had a great assembly event with ! They helped create 300 kits! Thank you! With the weather changing, care kits are needed more than ever. Our partnerships help make those kits a reality.

We are excited to announce our fall care kit partnership is with the Lake Oswego chapter of the National League of Young Men. We’re so grateful for their fundraising and support!

Our first distribution event was a success! This past December, we were able to hand out all 250 care kits to those in need. Thank you to Blanchet House for allowing us to support your guests and to KOIN news for getting the word out.
