Much like everyone else, today I am reflecting on the past year and feeling profoundly grateful.

First, to the clients who have entrusted SRS with your important milestones and gatherings. Whether it was a personal celebration or professional program, these were moments that mattered to you, your organization, your community. I don't take for granted the trust that you put in me and the SRS Team to execute your events with the care and attention they deserve.

Second, to the SRS team without whom none of this would be possible. Our team is comprised of all sorts of folks - some who work in the event industry full time and others who work in other fields but choose to spend their 'off' time working their tails off to bring our events to life. I am often at a loss for words to truly express how proud and thankful I am that you all have hopped on this ride with me.

Finally, to my friends and family who have been my biggest cheerleaders, advisors, last minute staff members, errand runners, and sustenance providers (in the form of food, encouragement, and financial support) since day one. None of this, including my very being, would be what and who it is without you. ❤️

2026 is going to be a great year - filled with new challenges, exciting opportunities, and lots of caffeine and nerd gummy clusters.

Stella is our resident tail-wagger, nap enthusiast, and morale booster. She joined the SRS team to make sure everyone’s day includes a little extra joy, a few belly rubs, and the persistent request to share your food.

With a keen sense for when someone needs a break or a smile, Stella takes her job very seriously. Whether it’s greeting clients, supervising meetings from her bed, or offering moral support to the team, she believes that no event is complete without a little love (and maybe a treat or two).

Doing things they way they have 'always' been done isn't a strategy - it's a missed opportunity.

The world has changed and so too have our needs and desires when it comes to gathering. We love working with clients to discover what it is that makes you tick and how we can make your event feel alive and aligned so your guests do too.

SRS is your creative partner and we encourage thinking outside the box to build something new and exciting.

In my career I've planned everything from Broadway show opening parties to a river dam demolition celebration in a dirt parking lot. I've learned that the things that make an event stand out aren't necessarily the most expensive or cutting edge, they are the things that make guests feel welcomed, cared for, and connected to something larger than themselves.

No matter the event you are hosting, we are obsessed with making it the best version it can be by focusing on the things that genuinely matter to you and will make your attendees feel good.
