Yak wool is a natural fiber with the softness and warmth people love in cashmere, but with a lighter, more breathable feel made for daily wear.

It comes from the fine down yaks naturally shed each spring, then is gently combed by hand. Because the fibers are fine and smooth, it can feel gentler and less scratchy than many traditional wools.

Gathered seasonally and in limited quantities, yak wool asks for a slower way of making.

At Tercette, we use it to create fewer pieces with more intention — soft, warm, breathable knitwear made to be reached for often.
