Wellville kickoff No. 2 draws huge crowd WARRENTON — Interest in “The Way to Wellville,” the national five-year challenge to promote health across Clatsop County, grew Wednesday night as about 100 people gathered in the Warrenton High School cafeteria for the second town hall kickoff event.

‘Wellville’ journey begins: Crowd gathers to kickoff 5-year, $5 million health challenge New York City-based venture capitalist Esther Dyson, the founder of the Health Initiative Coordinating Council (HICCUP), which sponsors the “Way to Wellville,” encouraged the community to focus on itself and on how it can become the healthiest county in the nation.
