La Piñata 🪅
¡Dale Dale Dale!
Painted this little painting for my birthday and honestly… sometimes you gotta be your own muse. Treat yourself, celebrate yourself, all of it.
Piñatas don’t just look pretty, they carry meaning. In Mexican culture, the traditional 7-point star represents the seven deadly sins, and being blindfolded to destroy evil while falling candy symbolizes our rewards for faith. Everything has deeper meaning than we realize.
Also all I’m saying is… little Vanessa was out there fighting off that evil. Look at that stance! 😂

Who is ready for World Cup? 🇲🇽⚽
I wanted to give honor to some of the greats. From the fearless, colorful style of Jorge Campos in the 90s who changed the game for goalkeepers to the iconic World Cup saves from Guillermo Ochoa that had the whole world watching… Mexico has always had legends protecting the goal. 🧤
Different eras, same passion. ¡Vamos México!
fun lil fact: I played competitive fútbol for most of my life and I was a keeper! Love the game and looking forward to the summer!

No one really talks about how hard it can be to be an artist whose work is rooted in their culture. To create from a place of pride in your skin, your history, your roots and then watch your culture be misunderstood, attacked, or misrepresented. With everything going on, I felt stuck. Shocked. Almost like I should pause. I questioned if I was saying the right things, creating the right way, being respectful enough. But let’s be real, this discrimination isn’t new. It’s just more visible. Our community has been carrying this weight for generations. Seeing the way my people are portrayed hurts. And when I don’t know what to do… I create. For a moment, fear and doubt tried to creep in. Maybe that’s the point; to silence us. But I won’t let that happen. I recently went to Arizona for an art festival where the theme was “Where Art and History Meet.” And that’s exactly what it felt like. The richness of Mexican culture was celebrated, honored, and alive. For those few days, the noise faded. I felt like I was exactly where I was meant to be.
It reminded me of my why.
Why I create.
Who I create for.
Why representation matters.
To my Hispanic artists don’t stop. Don’t forget your why. Your art is powerful. It’s necessary. It’s bigger than you. It’s okay to pause. It’s okay to feel stuck. Just don’t let it become permanent. We need your art.

If you know me you know Valentine’s Day is my favorite, but it didn’t feel right to promote product with everything going on. If you need a card though for that special someone, just reach out ☺️. But it doesn’t mean I’m going to stop creating, but I asked myself this question, what is the real meaning of love?
It’s deeper than just the love we give to a partner, friends, or family. Love is a conscious, selfless choice. It’s choosing someone’s well-being, growth, and happiness. It’s unconditional care, trust, and respect.
With Valentine’s Day tomorrow, take a moment to reflect on how you give love and to who. Love isn’t meant to be selective. It’s something we can offer in our everyday actions, in the way we speak, create, show up, and care for others.
The world truly needs more love

🧊🔥 what is happening is not okay 🧊🔥
Science says fire melts ice- and so does resistance.
Feel it. Spark your fire. Speak up.
Rest when needed and protect your heart and mind.
But never let the fire go out. We are resilient.

“keep fighting for what one truly desires”
Lucha Libre translated as “free fight” is more than a sport; it is a living tradition. The luchador’s mask is an extension of the soul, representing identity, honor, and cultural heritage. Each match reflects the timeless struggle between good and evil, mirroring the resilience, conflict, and triumph found within everyday life.

The working race ✊🏽
The backbone of our communities. The hands that build our roofs, harvest our food, cook our favorite dishes, serve us with heart, and clean the messes we never want to face. The ones labeled as criminals, when in truth they are our heroes. ¡Viva La Raza!

Feliz Día de Los Mu***os / Happy Day of the Dead 💀 🏵️
Final ➡️ Linework
This time of year always reminds me that love is the most powerful force we have. It transcends time, life, and even death. Love doesn’t end, it transforms, it lives on through memory, honor, and celebration. My heart is with anyone who might be feeling heavy today. Remember, love never dies, it just evolves.
