Clients, friends and family! I wanted to share with you all a quick housing market insight/update for December 2023! Some of you know very well how fun this current market is; the more you know!
The real estate market followed its typical seasonal pattern. New listings saw a significant decline of 43.9%, which is very common for December. The average sold price also decreased by 1.6% to $586,800. Days on market increased by 8.1% to 60 days, home sales decreased by 1.0% with 1,330 homes sold. Active inventory dropped by 21.2% to 3,645 homes.
The good news is that interest rates have come down, which is a positive sign as we enter the New Year. Remember to keep me in mind for all your real estate needs!!!
Highlights -December VS November 2023:
New Listings: Down 43.9%, which is common during the holiday season.
Average Sold Price: Decreased by 1.6% to $586,800.
Days on Market: Increased by 8.1% to 60 days.
Home Sales: Decreased by 1.0%, with 1,330 homes sold.
Active Inventory: Dropped by 21.2% to 3,645 homes.
