Gresham Community Fair! 2026
We do a lot of work in East Portland - afterschool programs,community events, apartment community spaces and more. This to help bridge the gap and the space that our shared communities live in working and playing in Gresham and Portland.
We do this same work in Gresham!
Our HQ is in Rockwood, Gresham and our makerspace is in Centennial, Portland. Both on the borders of Portland and Gresham.
We are proud of our relationships with both cities but give a special shoutout to Gresham who has supported us from day one!
We keep it moving! And keep an eye out for our STEM trailer that the kids of Gresham and Portland are helping design.

We all did it again! This time in East County at the East County Community Center! Community and connections! Hoops, STEM, hair, food and opportunity for positivity!
Night sports has us remembering what parts of Portland used to be like. Before the most recent round of displacement. This is how we rebuild community!
Excited for the next one, and always a pleasure to work with connect to so many community partners!
Day One Tech tabled at the 2026 POIC STEMFEST!
Transportation was provided to bring youth from schools across the Portland area to the event, giving many students a chance to experience STEM in a hands-on, exciting way.
This is a reminder that access matters. When we solve transportation barriers, we open the door for more young people to connect with resources, opportunities, and experiences that can shape their future.
We are grateful to POIC, all the partners, and everyone who helped make this event happen. Our Day One Tech team showed up with electrical engineering in action through slot cars, circuits, speed, and fun.
