I'm so excited to finally share my mini collection I made this past summer. This humpback whale is the first illustration I made in my new style. I am in awe of how well it turned out ❤️! Inktober Day 8: Hike. Hiking is one of my favorite things to do and they are always better paired with a loved one. I used to go monthly with my Bestie and it was just so magical, healing and centering. Life changed, as it does, and we no longer are able to go as often as we would like. Who is your person you like to hike with?

Day 6: Trek
I chose one of my favorite StarTrek characters, Dr. Beverly Crusher ❤️. One of my first examples of a woman who had it all. A dedicated doctor, mother and friend. Wise, professional, calm under pressure, with great humor. Now as an adult I have deep appreciation and gratitude that I had this role model as a child.

INKTOBER Day 5: Binoculars.

One of the grateful things I think about when living in Oregon is the abundance and variety of wildlife. Going to see the sea lions was always a special experience shared with my family.

Fun facts! 1. The largest toucan, Toco toucan, grows up to 24 inches and weighs less than 2 lbs! 2. Toucan's beak account for half their length 3. They have smaller wings and don't like to fly for long distances.

Inktober Day 2: Discovery
The negative and positive spaces were a challenge! Drawing is about 4x6. I used a .02 Micron pen for outlines, Faber Castel brush pen for most of the shadows and a white milky pop pen for correction and highlights.

Expirementing with a new style. This is the first one I created in this new way. I like the see-through effect. This might just be a new method of mine.
