I love how it creates community, creates a joy for learning and seeing littles slowly get out of their shell and grow as been so inspiring not only for me…but for their care providers. I figured….I can package this experience up and take it other spaces!!! So far I’ve done storytimes at coffee shops, large scale vending events, OMSI, restaurants , flower shops and MORE!!! SATURDAY at 10am!! Celebrate Mom in the most heartwarming way! Join us for a special Mother’s Day Potting Party—a joyful hands-on event where little ones can create the perfect gift: a hand-potted flower in a decorated planter, made with love!

Children will:

Choose a plant to pot (with a little guidance!)
Decorate their very own planter with paints and stickers
Create a custom gift tag or card with a heartfelt message
Enjoy a storytime featuring books about moms and nature

THIS SATURDAY AT 10am we’ll have in the bookstore reading her debut picture book “Go There Mama Bear”. A story that is charming, heartfelt and most of all purposeful! Shawna Danberg lives her life to inspire others as a coach, pastor, writer and more. We love local authors, join us for storytime, talk and a bear craft!

Spiderman is coming to Sunrise Books!!

SATURDAY MARCH 8th at 10am SPIDERMAN will be in the bookstore!!! We’ve partnered with Dragon Theater for a fun filled experience . Spidey will read a book and hang around for some fun! we’ll have superhero activities and crafts.

All families are welcomed and kids are encouraged to wear their favorite superhero costume!

Tickets are $10 per kid!

Storytime & STEM
SATURDAY MARCH 1st we’re kicking off Women’s month with CHRSITINA WHITE, a Histotechnologist and has over 20 years in the lab profession. Join us for an important STEM event with CHRISTINA WHITE. We are so happy to have her show kids the possibility of STEM careers, advocate for STEM education and show first hand how to look thru a microscope. This event of perfect for ages 5 & up. We kindly ask for a suggested donation of $5.
