Support Measure 117 for Ranked-Choice Voting - https://mailchi.mp/alloregonvotes/support-measure-117-for-ranked-choice-voting
Measure 117 would enact ranked choice voting for statewide and federal races, which gives voters the option to rank candidates in order of preference. It is an important first step toward open, party-neutral primaries that would establish equal voting rights for all Oregonians. We urge Oregonians to vote YES on Measure 117 this election!

How Oregon's Partisan Primaries Marginalize Voters https://www.alloregonvotes.org/s/Oregon-Marginalized-Voters.pdf
All Oregon Votes has published an analysis of the May 2024 primary election identifying “marginalized” voters: those denied the right to vote for any registered candidate because of their political affiliation or lack thereof.
In some state legislative races, more than 60% of voters were marginalized.
All Oregon Votes is working to guarantee equal voting rights for all Oregonians.
All Oregon Votes supports ranked-choice voting proposed in Legislative Referral 2024-403 (HB2004) as a means to improve voter representation. We regard it as an important step toward implementation of a party-neutral election system in which all voters have equal rights and elected officials represent the broadest possible range of voters.

The May 21st primary is fast approaching. Please be aware that you will not be allowed to vote in many of the state’s most important elections unless you join one of the two major parties whose nominating elections are run by the state using taxpayer dollars.
For the May 21st election, the registration deadline is April 30th.

You can restore your registration to "non-affiliated" after the May 21st primary.

Promote equal voting rights on MLK Day - https://mailchi.mp/alloregonvotes/give-the-gift-of-democracy-17699267
“So long as I do not firmly and irrevocably possess the right to vote, I do not possess myself. I cannot make up my mind – it is made up for me. I cannot live as a democratic citizen, observing the laws I have helped to enact – I can only submit to the edict of others.” - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., “Give Us the Ballot” (1957).

Give the Gift of Democracy
Equality of voting rights is the political implementation of the Golden Rule: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” To give the gift of democracy, visit our website at www.AllOregonVotes.org. Then donate about an hour of your time to download the petition, train yourself as a circulator, and collect ten signatures from family, friends, and neighbors. Or consider a financial donation. Together, we can make Oregon’s democracy truly “free and equal”.

Two things scare the two party establishment: Open Primaries and Ranked Choice Voting. If both parties hate it, it's a good bet that's because it gives power to people over parties!

As ranked choice voting gains momentum, parties in power push back Aug. 21—Over the past decade, ranked choice voting has become increasingly popular. From conservative Utah to liberal New York City, 13 million American voters in 51 jurisdictions — including all of Alaska and Maine — now use the system, under which voters rank candidates based on preference, ...
