We are honored to be featured in Dwell magazine's most recent issue for our work building thoughtful and dignified shelters for the City of Portland's Safe Rest Villages Program. The Safe Rest Village program provides safe transitional housing, access to necessary services, and supports those experiencing houselessness. The program has already seen incredible success, helping many folks find permanent housing. The article discusses what life is like for our unhoused neighbors within our villages. It is an important piece to the puzzle and does great work humanizing this often villainized population. We are so incredibly proud and thankful to be a part of the incredible work being done within the Safe Rest Village Program, the Joint Office of Homeless Services, and the Mayor's Office. Spacious and capable kitchens are incredibly important to us. Check out this one we're finishing on a 25' build!

Putting the finishing touches on the dream kitchen in our most recent 25' build before we seal the counters. This spacious and beautiful kitchen is fit with a 30" sink, gas oven and stove, a live-edge sycamore counter, a full sized fridge, and all the storage you could ever need (there's even a hidden dishwasher). @cubicminiwoodstoves sent us over one of their cub models and once installed this home will feel extra cozy.

The snow certainly added an amount of charm to our lovely little homes. ❄️

Over the weekend we mocked up designs for a few of our future builds. We really like the utilizing windows to let in both natural light and the beauty of our forests. One does this by utilizing a wall of windows, and the other using an accordion door which doubles as a giant window and an opening to our favorite spaces. Either design will be a wonderful home, forest cabin, weekend getaway, or luxury rental.

As many of you know our passion for tiny homes came in the wake of large Oregon fires threatening our those we love's homes. It's so great to have such an awesome organization paving the way for such humanitarian work!

We are Stanley Tiny Homes, builders of custom and mindful tiny homes. We serve folks throughout the Pacific Northwest, specializing in colossal feeling tiny homes, local and sustainable materials, and healthful living.

When the fires in 2020 threatened our families’ homes near Detroit Lake, OR, we decided to take fate into our own hands and start building tiny homes for our family and others that weren't promised a home to go back to.

This project quickly turned into a burning passion and proved to be an impactful way to make a difference in the struggling housing market.

We are a small company which works clients from across the West Coast and parts of the Midwest. One of the beauties of building tiny homes on wheels is that we can ship most places in the continental US!

Through a group effort (and bringing on folks far smarter and more capable than I) we have been able to produce tiny homes that are thoughtful, environmentally conscious, and healthy for several of our Oregon and Washington neighbors. A portion of each sale is donated to local organizations that serve those that are houseless in the region that the home is sold in.

When Nate, the founder of Stanley Tiny Homes, isn't building he is in medical school at Oregon Health and Science University. Health, safety, and equity are our core tenants at Stanley Tiny Homes
