Did you know moths looked like that when they first come out of their cocoons? They oddly resemble more of their previous caterpillar self! They need time to pump their wings up to fully transform into their final form!

I love working with these moths. I let them live out their full lives before preserving them and letting them be loved forever! They end up with some chips and tears in their wings but I think that ads to the beauty. Don’t you?
