Tell Portland State University's story! The PSU Retired Alumni Historical Preservation Fund needs your support to create a permanent exhibit showcasing the history of PSU in Smith Memorial Student Union. It will be an inclusive timeline of our significant personalities, achievements and contributions easily accessible to prospective students, current students, and visiting alumni and friends of PSU.

Your Day of Giving donations — which can be made today — will help make this project a reality. All donations to the RAPS fund, up to $5,000, will be matched by the RAPS Historical Preservation Committee.

Yes, it’s Monday. Campus and Smith are open. Most of the snow is gone. Buses and trains seem to be operating close to normal. Parking garages still stand.

Drop by the student union where it is warm for food, bagels, coffee and snacks. We’re open — even if we’re still drying out our gloves.

SHOP FOR FREE NOW ON THE 4TH FLOOR – The is holding its “Shop For Free” event until 4 p.m. today (2/9) and from 10 am to 4 pm Friday (2/10) on the fourth floor of Smith!

It’s open to the entire community and it’s for yourself or your family members. Find gently used clothing, toys, housewares and other handy items – free to you!

SMITH & PSU CLOSED TODAY — In recognition of Martin Luther King Jr Day, the student union is closed today but our study spaces, resource and cultural centers will reopen on Tuesday along with the food-and-drink amenities.
